Tad, just think. Thats only about 3/8 of the lot. When Paul gets his part in, theres going to be more in it to fill out the box. It'll be like Christmas time for him when it arrives.

I used to have all the Judge Dredd's when they first came out, to think of all the 2000AD my mum put in the bin, its a crime really.

Mike, yes you did. Thats #40. I still need 57 for the full set, mostly 1-29 and the rest in between 3 and 56 along with the last 4 issues and the special. Neil Gaiman does outstanding work.

I have a few doubles of sandman in the old comic box ( not sure what ones they are mind), when I get a moment I will pull them out if you want them you can have them.

First up we have some older books that came from Ebay. Got these for a good price last week. Worlds Finest Comics #249. Captain America #223. Sgt. Fury And His Howling Commandos #30. And finally The Flash #287.



And now some books I picked up at the comics shop today. Chris and I have taken to calling a display like this a "Tadlight" . Lone Ranger #3. Secret Avengers 12. Wintr Soldier 3. This will be first to get read tonight. Avenging Spider-Man 4. Detective Comics 7. Captain America & Bucky 621. Resurrection Man 2. Frankenstein Agent of S.H.A.D.E. 2. cAPTAIN aMERICA & bUCKY 622

Here's an issue I think is super cool. Godzilla Kingdom Of Monsters #1. If the store selling the books bough 500 copies or more, IDW would make the building getting stomped by Godzilla your shop. So this one is my LCS Strange Adventures. Pretty neat I think.



Now for the DOLLAR BIN pickups. I love the dollar bin at SA. From IDW we have GI Joe 20, 21 & 22. Kirby Genesis #0 & #1. I'm really curious about this series. New 52 Superman 2 & 3. Red Sonja 19. Warlord Of Mars 5.



More DOLLAR BIN. GI Joe 23, 24, 26, 27. Frankenstein Agent Of S.H.A.D.E. 4. Secret Avengers 19. Resurrection Man 3 & 4. Green Hornet 9 & 12.



Now I have to sit down and read some books.

Excellent haul Paul. Love the older issues. Ok now for a newbie question since Im not up-to-date on new stuff much. The Cap and Bucky issues, is that the new title for Captain America or what? Only asking cause the issue # is so high.

From what I've been able to figure out. Captain America became Captain America & Bucky with issue 620. It's cool because the stories are set back in World War 2. And follow Buckys path to becoming Caps sidekick. I'm really liking the issues I've read so far.

Congrats Chris and Paul on some more huge pickups, that's some serious reading ahead! The bargain dollar stuff is a nice deal. I still have an issue or two of Sgt Fury and his howling commandos. Good to see that in the pile. Well done guys

I actually score good with that lot for once. Only 2 doubles which I was surprised at. Now if I can score another 10-15 lots like that, Ill finish the sets off quick.

I was planning on going to my shop this weekend, but since the gas stations here know its time for spring break and jacked the gas prices up, 78 to fill up my truck. I decided to hit the local flea market instead. I knew there was a seller there who had some, so figured Id pick up a couple.

Bionic Man #5, Manhattan Projects #1, Resurrection Man #5, Frankenstein Agent Of Shade 3 & 5, Incredible Hulk #6, Dark Shadows 1 & 2, And finally Kirby Genesis #2.



Next up is Resurrection Man 6 & 7, Crosssed Badlands #1 with wraparound cover variant, Warlord Of Mars 4, The Torch 7, The MArvels Project 5, Kirby Genesis 3 & 4, and Ninjettes #1.


And because I spent more than 50 bucks today Topp Shelf gave me Vol. 3 of The Official Handbook Of The MArvel Universe from their Essentials line. And I picked up the Worlds Greatest Superheroes TPB at another shop in Bangor. It collects Alex Ross' books Superman:Peace On Earth, Batman: War On Crime, SHAZAM!: Power Of Hope, Wonder Woman: Spirit Of Truth, JLA: Secret Origins, and JLA: Liberty And Justice. I've been wanting this for awhile and found it for a killer price today.

Nice haul today. That handbook is nice. I got some of the single issues. Never knew there was a master handbook for it like that. Those Kirbys I will have to check out. The cover art work is awesome.

Dollar bin items. My shop has it where anything bagged is $1 and non-bagged items are 50 cents each. So to say I racked up quite a few today.











These 2 I couldnt believe they had in the dollar bins. Not the best shape cover wise, but they are solid books.

Man, sweet haul, Chris!! Especially those two Bronze X-Men. That's a steal!

Whole lotta reading there Chris. Nice bedfull of books today.

Secret Avengers 6 & 7, Captain America & Bucky 623, 624, 625, DC Universe Presents 7, Avengers 24.1, Scarlet Spider 3, Savage Hawkman 7, Supergirl 7, Batgirl 7.


Top two books are from the dollar bin. Pink Panther, Strange Science Fantasy. And from their old issues bin three Incerdible Hulk books I needed.



And finally a really cool book. Avengers Assemble #1. The store variant cover with my shops logo on it.
