| So now that we're 6 issues into The New 52 titles, what do you think? Love it? Hate it? Indifferent to it?
For me, overall I LOVE IT!! The big event of releasing all new issues of every title seemed to really give everything a new jolt of energy. They really have great writers and artists combining for just some outstanding books.
The Bat-titles have been amazing! And the revamping of little known or obsolete titles like Animal Man and Swap Thing have just been great books. There seems to be a whole new sense of enthusiasm with everything DC puts out these days.
Really my only complaint would be the time lines and how the titles relate to each other. If you just read a title or two, I think this is no big deal. But I've actually been insane enough to read every issue of every 52 title so far, and it gets confusing. For instance, in Action Comics, Superman is brand new to Metropolis, and is still a big unknown to its fine citizens. Is he friend or foe? They're not sure. Hell Supes is even still wearing jeans and boots in Action Comics. But in the Superman title, it is apparently 5 years after Action, and Superman has somewhat become a mainstay and accepted in Metropolis. This appears to be when Supergirl and Superboy take place as well.
But in Voodoo, it appears it takes place around the same time as Action, as there have been hints of Superman being misunderstood, and Green Lantern not really known yet either. Which brings us to Green Lantern Corps, in which Guy Gardner meets Martian Manhunter for the first time. And that brings up Justice League, where all of the heroes appear to be new, and are introducing themselves to each other for the first time as well.
Got it? Me, either. I wish there was some sort of better continuity with the entire line. Even in new issues they'll discuss events that haven't happened yet, notate them with an "*" and tell you the event is from an issue that doesn't even come out until the next month. There's got to be a better way to straighten this all out!!
Anyway, overall, it's a great line. And I'll keep up with every issue for the time being.

| I LOVE THE NEW 52!!! The funny thing was I had only gotten back into comics in late July or early in August last year. Not long before the New 52 relaunch. So it was really perfect timing. BUT I wasn't going to check it out at all at the time. Simply because I was never a big DC fan when I was younger. BUT my enabler dork friends (you know who you are all of ya ) talked me into trying them. First one I picked up was Justice League #1. I read it six times na row the day I got it!!! The I picked up Flash #1 and that was good too. Now I'm up to 8 New 52 titles I pick up monthly. Not a huge list compared to Tads. But not all books appeal to me. But I'm sure others will crawl into my pile when I walking around the comics store . The biggest complaint I read orthers complain about The New 52 is the reboot itself. They fel their beloved characters have been ruined by revamping them. I felt sorta the same way. But it's kinda nice to have a fresh start and get in on the ground floor. It's comics have fun and enjoy. New 52 gets an A++ from this Comics Junkie. | |

| I have always been more of a DC man than Marvel, but I will admit that the new 52 is pushing me a bit towards marvel. Like most people I got carried away with the Pre release hype, but when it came out I didn't think it was all that, in fact out of the 1st ten that I brought I am still only getting 3 of them and one of them might be getting stopped soon. They are: Batman Swamp Thing Green Arrow (this is the one I'm not sure about if its no better after the new writing team then its getting stopped) | |

There were definitely some weak ones, like Static Shock, Mister Terrific, and Men of War, but overall I'm liking most of them. And I like that DC gave some of the lesser titles a chance, even thought they aren't going to keep going with them.

| I Think it was Blue Beetle - I have a bit of a secret thing for the old BB but this one was not worth wasting my money on. Catwoman - Other than some sweet drawings of Catwoman I didn't think it had a lot going for it. Savage Hawkman Justice League international Green Lantern - Never really been a fan this but was willing to give it a go. Demon Knights and one other that I cant remember and only picked up to make up some numbers for free shipping | |

| I was rushed earlier because I was having to get to work. Hre's my current list of New 52 titles.
The Flash The Savage Hawk Man Justice League Wonder Woman Batgirl Supergirl Detective Comics All-Star Western
Kind of a nice cross section of titles. I like all of them alot. I was never a Hawkman fan when I was younger, but I'm liking the new take on him.

I think it's been pretty critically acclaimed, but I just can't get into it. I haven't stopped it yet, but it's definitely on the "might go" list. But I really like Green Lantern and Catwoman. The others are like C+ grades for me.

| Don't have any of the 52 titles yet, but I saw a preview on comixology today of some of the future releases. The Batman Detective Stories looks superb with a nice Penguin cameo. I was also interested in Animal Man and Justice League International. The previews for Swamp Thing were just out of this world, the artwork and colour looks something else. Also saw the Superman preview where he was wearing his boots and Jeans like Tad said | |

| Dont know how many have followed it or thought about it since, but if you picked up the FCBD copy for DCs New 52, the lady in red has been revealed and what she has to do with it all. She is part of a trinity of characters who committed a sin centruries ago. One was greedy, the other wanted to rule the world and his named remembered. As for our lady in red, her only sin was opening a box. With that said, her name should be easy to figure out. Yes it is Pandora herself and what does she have to do with it all? Well coming next year, there will be a story arc out called Trinity War. Not sure of the details of it all, but from the FCBD book, it looks like its going to be awesome.
