| OK - Instead of just asking where the thread is I'm changing it to the Dark Horse thread. Feel free to expand, talk amongst ourselves, you know - no big whoop... http://www.darkhorse.com/

| The sad thing is I don't have any from Dark Horse on my pull list either . The only ones I ever hear anything about from them anymore is the Star Wars ones. I guess I'll have to hit their website and check it out. | |

| If I'm being honest, most of the Star Wars comics aren't' very good either. I pul them anyway just because they're Star Wars, but for the most part, they're pretty blah for me.
I kind of like the Agent of the Empire one that's going on now, because it's kind of like James Bond meets Star Wars.
And Crimson Empire III is ok, too. But the others, not so much. I think for me it's use because I've never been a fan of the Expanded Universe. I like seeing the characters and worlds I know from the movies, not strange folks from thousands of years before, like with Dawn of the Jedi or Knights of the Old Republic. But that's just me. I remember reading Dark Empire a looooooong time ago, and I really liked it, but for the most part, the Dark Horse stuff is underwhelming for me.
Maybe there are some titles that are more than a year old though that are good, before I got back into comics. Maybe Dallas can chime in and set me straight.

| Dark Horse had some killer titles years ago, Concrete, DHP, Aliens, Predator, Emily Strange, Godzilla, Grendal, and Sin City. Sad thing is, most of their titles are just mini series, not like Marvel and DC's stuff, full title runs. The SW stuff I read was ok, for the time. But anything with Fetts in it, is good to me | |

| Dark Horse is the 3rd largest publisher in the US. Of course they have Star Wars (some suck - others are great). Like Tad said - you have to be into the EU to really get into the SW books. That said, I really enjoy the different EU stories. The newest series - Dawn of the Jedi - is actually pretty good. All new characters but pretty engrossing so far. The EMPIRE series is really good as well.
Some other good titles are Conan, BPRD - Hell on Earth, and Lobster Johnson. Different kinds of stories. They're not for everyone...
Paul - You will have some DH soon. They're en route. Enjoy, you'll probably be hooked. | |

| Anyone else reading this? I really like it so far. It's based on a novel by Guillermo Del Toro, but I've never read that. It's on issue #3 now, and I dig the story. | |
